The estimate is built from the service type, target size, quality tier (standard / premium / luxury) and any selected extras. The baseline is 2026 average market prices in the Helsinki metropolitan area; the rest of Finland is roughly 5 % cheaper overall, archipelago and Lapland roughly 5 % more expensive due to logistics (boat transport, long drives). The final price is confirmed at a site visit.

What's in the work portion versus the material portion?

Typical splits: bathroom renovation ~45 % work / 55 % material, apartment renovation 40/60, line (pipe) renovation 55/45, single-family home construction 45/55. Our quote always lists work and material separately, which helps you plan financing and compare costs.

Why can the same renovation cost €12 000 or €22 000?

The biggest driver is the quality tier — standard tiles, fittings and HVAC are roughly 30–40 % cheaper than premium or luxury. Then site condition: older buildings can have moisture damage, asbestos demolition, or load-bearing changes that raise the price — which is why the estimate can move ±10–20 %. At the site visit we measure surfaces and survey the structure so the final fixed-price quote is accurate.

Yes — pick the services you want from the list, give each its own size and tier, and the calculator sums the total cost. For example, a line renovation plus a full owner-side bathroom can run on the same site mobilisation, saving on schedule and transport overhead.

We typically reply within one business day and arrange a free site visit — usually within 1–2 weeks in Uusimaa. On site we measure the space, document its condition and agree on material choices; a written fixed-price quote typically follows within a week of the visit. You can pre-share floor plans or photos via the form on the calculator — that accelerates the refined estimate.
